Learn About the Issues

Animal welfare issues can be complicated. Laws vary, terminology can be confusing, and it isn't always easy to know whether the information you find online is accurate.

NCAAP is developing educational resources to help North Carolinians better understand the issues affecting companion animals in our state—from commercial breeding and puppy sales to spay and neuter access, animal welfare laws and responsible pet acquisition.

Our goal is to provide clear, evidence-based information that helps people make informed decisions, recognize problems and understand how they can be part of meaningful change.
